“The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.” (Psalm 97:1)
God is sovereign over all. In every season—whether in joy or in sorrow, —He is on the throne. He is never absent, never caught off guard. When despair begins to creep in, He is still reigning with power and love. He turns fear into a deep ocean of trust. When we are weak, He is strong. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who breathed life into dry bones, is still living and reigning in our lives today. Fill your heart with the truth of Scripture, for His Word is our sword against the enemy’s lies. Sing His praises, even in the storm. As James reminds us, “because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverance” (James 1:3). Trials are not the end—they are the shaping of your faith, the proving of His promises. When the waves feel like they’re pulling you under, remember the One who set the oceans in place. He commands the wind and the sea, and they obey Him (Mark 4:41). Our God reigns—not just in heaven, but over every detail of your life. Praise Him on the mountain. Praise Him in the valley. His faithfulness never fails. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22–23). Say to your soul, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will hope in Him” (Lamentations 3:24).Our God reigns. Over all creation, over every storm—He reigns.
